The Park: Restcamps - Crocodile Bridge Advisory | Exploration | Map | Restcamps | Sections | Statistics | The Park The restcamp is located in the south east of the Kruger National Park. Not far from Crocodile Bridge Gate. The crocodile river is famous for its crocodiles. The largest crocodiles in the Kruger National Park however live in the northern riverine lands.
Crocodile Bridge is situated near the entrance to the game-rich eastern areas of the Kruger National Park and is one of the oldest and smallest camps in the park. Overlooking the Crocodile River, the camp has twenty huts which have been tastefully restored and offer visitors a cosy alternative to some of the larger camps. Guests prepare food in a communal kitchen and can buy basic provisions at the local shop. Visitors should bear in mind that the Crocodile River occasionally bursts its banks during summer and this entrance to the park can then not be used. Other restcamps: Berg en Dal, Letaba, Lower Sabie, Mopani, Olifants, Orpen, Pretoriuskop, Punda Maria, Satara, Shingwedzi and Skukuza restcamps. Other bushveld camps: Bateleur, Biyamiti, Shumuwini, Sirheni and Talamati.
