Either by booking a safari tour at an operator. They will take you on an expedition in their vehicle. For instance in a touring car or maybe a 4x4 depending on your budget. Often mini busses are also used. A more special way to visit the Kruger National Park is by hiking. This means you will go on guided walks throughout the park. This way you can come into close contact with animals. A game ranger will accompany you to make sure you stay out of scent ranges of the more dangerous species such as rhinoceros or lion. You can also rent a car when you are from abroad and drive around in the Kruger National Park. Many people from Southern Africa drive to the Kruger National Park by themselves. There are many facilities in the Kruger National Park to accommodate drivers. There are petrol stations and also maintenance and service shops widely available.
A more special way to travel is on special 4x4 tracks. There is
a special five day track available to experience true nature.
