The restcamp is located in the middle of the Kruger National Park. Not far from the Boulders and in the middle of plains. These plains are covered with Mopani bushes. Thus explaining the name for Mopani restcamp.

Mopani restcamp entrance...Mopani restcamp has a very nice swimming pool, comfortable huts, facilities for day visitors and conferences. There is a trail, petrol station, shop. There is also a very nice restaurant with a wonderful bar overlooking a dam for residents. Also a laundry is available.

Mopani is the newest camp in the Kruger National Park and also offers the some of the more luxurious accommodation. Each of the stone and thatched huts has been carefully designed to blend in with the environment and to offer a great deal of privacy. Although the camp is very modern it has maintained the atmosphere of the older camps. The camp has a restaurant, ladies bar, cafeteria and shop as well as a swimming pool, which offers welcome relief, particularly in the hot summer months. An in-camp walk has been laid out to familiarise visitors with the camps indigenous vegetation. Including some fine examples of boaboab trees. It also has facilities for day visitors, including a braai area for tour groups and a nursing room for mothers and infants.
