In this section the various restcamps located inside the Kruger National Park are described as well as a number of so-called bushveld camps, the smaller versions of the restcamps.

One of the main reasons for the success of Kruger National Park in conserving animal and plantlife are its facilities where one can rest while exploring the vast expanse of area the Kruger National Park covers are the various restcamps and bushveld camps.

Although some people would argue that it is not a genuine experience to dwell in comfortable huts with swimming pools, bars and all kinds of facilities it does make the Kruger National Park by far the most accessible in the world.

The restcamps that are open for the general public are Berg en Dal, Crocodile Bridge, Letaba, Lower Sabie, Mopani, Olifants, Orpen, Pretoriuskop, Punda Maria, Satara, Shingwedzi and Skukuza restcamps.

The bushveld camps that are open for the general public are Bateleur, Biyamiti, Shumuwini, Sirheni and Talamati.
