Shimuwini Bushveld Camp is renowned for its Wild Dogs...Shimuwini bushveld camp is located in isolation northwest of Letaba restcamp and it has nine 5-bed huts and five 4-beds huts have commanding views over the Shimuwini dam. There is an alternative to staying in the standard accommodation offered at the Kruger National Park, and one which is particularily suited to people who like watching birds and those people who prefer to be alone with nature. A number of smaller camps without shops or restaurants and that only offer serviced and fully furnished air-conditioned accommodation to ensure a very comfortable stay. Private camps accommodate fewer that 20 people and visitors must book the entire camp. Thus it offers an exclusive experience as well. Bushveld camps can be booked on the normal basis for any number of guests. They are in great demand and even though one has to book up to 13 months, over a year, in advance, they are generally oversubscribed.
